What’s Happening at Beaufort Libraries: July 18th – July 23rd!

News of the Beaufort Libraries [with thanks to Amanda for these weekly updates!] – Bluffton events are in BOLD [click on links for more info].

Here are a few notable mentions from this past week:  

  • Online access to Wall Street Journal was announced on Monday, July 11th  
  • Over 1,000 people have submitted feedback through the Community Survey. We still need to reach more!
  • Over 700 readers have completed the Summer Reading program and many have started the Super Reader Bonus Round
  • Port Royal Sound Foundation’s “Lowcountry Reptiles” program drew great crowds at Lobeco (76 people) and Bluffton (138+)

Here’s what’s ahead next week:


* Local author Katherine Robinson will be at the Bluffton Library on July 19th at 11:00 am to talk about her book The Crabs on Calhoun (2022). Participants will also be able to make a crab craft to take home [while supplies last].
